Rough out Dean Oliver

This saddle went to Sam Woods in Sheridan, MT.  It's all rough out with a nice set of John Miller jailhouse stirrups on it that really look nice.  The saddle is built on a Bill Bean tree.  It has a Dean Oliver front end, 16" seat, 3" post horn, 4" round cantle, and mother hubbard style skirts.

This saddle I just finished up for Luke Wiggins here in Dillon, MT.  The tree was made by Bill Bean out of Eagle, ID and the stirrups are made by Kelly Nicholas in Corinne, UT.  It's a half breed floral with exposed stirrup leathers and swivel knife cuts on the cantle and horn.  It has 13" Lou Ellen swells with a 3.5" oval cantle, 16" seat, and a flat plate rigging.  You can see the saddle shop in the background of a couple of the pictures.  I'm in Montana for the summer.  Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Full floral wade

This saddle is going to a good friend, Kade Martin, in Wyoming.  This is my first fully tooled saddle.  Want to say thanks to both Cary Schwarz and Bob Park for putting out such great products to help those of us that aren't as artistically gifted.  This saddle is built on a Keith Gertsch tree.  Dimensions: 16 1/2" seat, 6 3/8" x 5 5/8" horn, 91.5* bars, 5" shovel cantle.  This turned out to be about all I could handle while attending vet school. I finished it just in time for finals and I know my wife is happy it's done cause now she gets her husband back in the evenings and on the weekends.

This saddle is going to Jacob Rose in Montana.  It's on a Bill Bean tree with a Dean Oliver front end, 16" seat, 4.5" round cantle, 3" by 3" post horn.  It has an inskirt rigging set a little ahead of 7/8 and 5" morans from Trina Weber.  You'll have to excuse the messy garage in the background, but we are finally getting a little rain here in Oklahoma and it kept me inside to take some pictures.  I want to thank Jacob for his business and loyalty.  This is the second saddle he's gotten from me and my dad.

Rough Out Wade

This saddle is going to Chad Goins in Dillon, Montana.  Rough out wade on Bill Bean tree.  16" seat, 4.5" cantle, 3.75" x 3" horn, on 91.5* bars.  It's got an inskirt rigging set just ahead of 7/8 and 5" morans from Trina Weber.  As you can see the small amount of snow we got yesterday didn't stick around too long.  Typical Oklahoma winter since we've been here.

Here's my latest saddle finished up a couple days ago.  I've been working on it through out this fall semester of my second year of vet school as time permitted.  This saddle is going to Ted Walker in Idaho.  Many thanks to Ted for his business.
It's a TM roper with a small post horn on a Bill Bean tree.  Quarter breed floral with an inskirt rigging set slightly ahead of 7/8.  16" seat, 4" x 12" round cantle with 1 1/4" cheyenne roll, and Trina Weber stirrups. Hope you enjoy this Christmas season and more especially remember the true meaning of it by making Christ the center of it.
